About Foresta
Foresta is a member of the Vasicos Center group and stands in front like on of the principal produceres of beech timber from Romania, with a tradition in wood exploatation that begun before 1900. Besides beech timber, Foresta produces also thermo-insulating carpentry from stratified wood at command, and stairs from massive wood.
The factory from Curtea de Arges was build before 1900, and between today's modern equipments can be still found a steam boiler from 1906, in perfect functioning condition. But Foresta is in step with the time so that last year over 500.000 euro where invested in the modernization and equipping the factory at the newest european standards. In this way, the old carpentry factory was completely renovated and fitted with equipments from SCM-one of the largest producers of equipments for wood explotation from the entire world.
